My Fantasy Football Teams
For the 2007 season, I'm played in four fantasy football leagues.  The crown jewel of these four fantasy football leagues is the elusive Lambaria Fantasy Football League (LFFL) championship title, a league I've been playing in every year since 1995.  One year I actually drafted my team while I was on vacation in Germany for the summer, just so I could partake in this league of champions.  Winning the Super Bowl in this league against this level of competition, is an accomplishment that is unparalleled in the world of fantasy sports.  In the twelve years I've been playing, I've come away with two titles.  Unfortunately, the 2007 edition of "The Danger Zone" did not net me my third.

Participating in four leagues becomes quite a commitment.   With watching the waiver wire for emerging players, checking on the status of potential trades, monitoring all injuries for four sets of starters,

 and making sure to adjust the starting lineups weekly, it can become quite a chore.  But participating in the four Fantasy Football Drafts is the highlight of my year.  I pull out all the stops ... fantasy football cheat sheets, mock drafts, and team depths charts are all within reach on my draft board.  On this page I tracked the progress of my fantasy football teams, displaying the record and team rank within the league.  The following are my fantasy football results from 2007.

Teams & Results from 2007 ...
Last year was tough fantasy football year for me.  My teams were competitive, but I failed in my quest for another championship.  This happened for a few reasons.  I was enamored with certain players last year and drafted them on all of my teams.  I really liked the potential for Lee Evans and Javon Walker with  their respective teams for 2007 and both let me down.  I also had some key injuries that contributed to my downfall - Larry Johnson, Roy Williams, Ronnie Brown.   Through it all I remained competitive and was primed for a run in the playoffs.  My downfall on a very promising Danger Zone squad in the highly coveted Lambaria Fantasy Football League occurred on one week in December when the east coast was rocked with a terrible snowstorm leaving Tom Brady and Randy Moss to net me a very unexpected twelve points.  That was the end of my fantastic run. Hopefully I learned something and will return in 2008 ready to make another run.
